* 50 minute sessions every hour includes kit up and safety briefing.
All of our activities are great fun for the whole family to enjoy, with our Miniumum age being just 4 with a maxiumum age for adults of 85!!
We have a dozen amazing challenges including:
Hang Tough- Climb 30ft up the pole and then hang off of Bristol’s heighest trapeze- If you’re feeling strong then give us a few pull ups!
Totum Pole- This pole does wobble, so get the heart pumping as you test your balance skills 25ft up in the air. For those wanting a bit more of an adrenaline rush try standing on 1 leg before stepping off and gliding down. Once you have done it once you will want to keep on trying it.
Rope Race- It’s like being back at the school gym but our knotted rope goes up 25 ft, test you arm strength as you attempt to scale it all the way to the top. Before lowering yourself slowly back to the ground on one of our auto-belays.
Wolf Wall- Climb up the wolf foot prints to get to the top of this climb. It’s a real favourite with our younger climbers and we often start them here to build their confidence before taking on the more challenging activities. With three climbs on a gentle slope this wall is a good easy start point and you get fantastic views of the Seven estuary in the distance and Wild Place’s magnificent giraffes below! If you're looking for more of a challenge try our three more advanced routes for an even bigger adrenline rush.
The High Wire ladder- Antoher popular activity with some of our younger climbers this wire ladder slowly starts to overhang, as you ascend it all the way to the top. Once you have rang the bell at the top it’s time for an exhilarating descent down on our state of the art auto-belays.
The Leap of faith- The ultimate test of nerves for the whole family, climb up 25ft and stand on the platform. Then… if you dare take the terrifying leap onto our giant punch bag and enjoy the exhilarating feeling as you glide slowly back down.
For an added fee make a day of it by enjoying all the animals and activities on offer at the Wild Place Project.
