Birthday Adventure Package-FAQ's

With approximately an hour on the ropes course (including kit up and instruction) unlimited climbing on a dozen challenges including - the Totem Pole, hang tough, the steel ladder, "the Leap" climbing walls challenges with a unique chance to see the giraffes from up high. Finish with a go on our "GIANT SWING"! Get strapped into paragliding harnesses before we winch you 25 foot up and let gravity do the rest!   

Plus - If you book for 10 or more, you get free use of our heated party yurt for 30 mins afterwards. (not available after the last session)

Do tickets include a visit around Wild Place?  Leap of Faith tickets gives access to the adventure course, cafe and toilets only.  If you would like to go around the brilliant WildPlace Project you need to purchase tickets in advance so you can see giraffes, bears and other animals.

What’s is the minimum age?  age 4 plus

It is a good activity for my teenager? It’s awesome and they will love it – see our trip advisers.

What if I want to bring more children than places available on the website? We may be able to increase the number of places available – please contact Leap of Faith when booking.

Can I use the yurt if my party is less than 10? For booking of less than 10 you are welcome to use our picnic benches for a party tea or the yurt is its available on the days.  

Is there a party tea?  You can purchase food from the cafe at Wild place you are welcome to bring your own cake/nibbles.  If you do, please bring everything you need for the cake etc as we do not have any cutlery.  In the yurt you are in charge so please ask then children to leave it tidy.

Do I need parental consent? We do not need signed forms but ask parents to confirm with the party organiser they are happy with our course rules. https://wildplace.org.uk/explore-the-park/leap-of-faith/course-rules , these are also displayed at the entrance to the course.  And referred to in our instructor introduction. Participation is confirmation of acceptance.

Does an adult need to go on the course?  The children love it when parents get involved so please buy yourself a ticket and join the fun.  If you prefer not to our instructors have got it more than covered. We do need an adult to stay around to remain course during the party.

Can other parents watch?  We ask the party organiser to meet all the children in the car park 15 mins before the party and bring them into Wild Place and meet the parents/guardians again in the car park after the party.  (Cribbs and John Lewis are just across the road).

We allow up to 4 adults to accompany the children into WildPlace with the party (guardians/grandparents)

Would this be suitable for my 6 year old daughter’s party? Yes - our trained staff are great at ensuring all ages (minimum age 4) and abilities have a fab time! There is normally lots of laughing and screaming on all the activities and our staff encourage those on the Giant Swing and counting down those on the Leap of Faith! We adopt a challenge by choice approach to our activities, so each child has complete control and can climb as high or low as they like.

Would this be suitable for my 14 year old son's birthday?  This party is ideal for children and adults young and old. We often have a party with siblings of different ages and they can all join in together. With varying difficulties and adjustable height for the swing and Leap of Faith (low, medium, high and extreme); your 14 year old will love it!

Do we need to bring anything with us?
All children will need to be wearing appropriate footwear and clothing – no sandals/crocs and no skirts or dresses please. 

What if it’s raining?
We are open rain or shine! In fact, kids seem to love it when it rains and we run in virtually all weather.

Are you open all year?

Yes, we are open to group bookings throughout to the year. The public can turn up and go on the course Feb to November (see website for booking: www.wildplace.org.uk). So why not come and see us for a day to remember!

This all sounds perfect, how can I book?
